About Us

Malimania is a Helsinki-based fashion and lifestyle brand established in 2020 by a young Somali couple, Nadir and Salma. What initially began as a passion project turned out to become a larger movement than the couple had initially intended. The two gradually infused art, fashion, and culture into the brand to create and by challenging the status quo and fueling conversations of diversity, acceptance, and new expressions. 

Today, Malimania's mission is to inspire people to acknowledge their roots as a unique strength, not a weakness. And to emphasize the importance of intercultural exchange and diversity in the 21st century.
